PARAPES, PAROPS, PEROPUS, PARAGON
A fabric under these various names is mentioned in 1612 to 1739. It is made of fine worsted and likened to a double camlet, taffeta or mochado, dyed in many colours, the difference being that Parapes was double warp and the others double weft.
